Laurél comes to us from the mystical, high deserts of Arizona. She grew up as an athlete and an equestrian. In Arizona, she studied both human and equine massage and has practiced both for nine years.
At a young age, she recognized and acknowledged the symbiosis of the mind, body, and spirit. A healthy mind and spirit are dependent on a healthy body. Only when an individual is well-rounded and strong in each of these three spheres does s/he enjoy a life of optimal potential. Laurél fuses this knowledge into her work and each one of her sessions.
It is not surprising that Laurél gravitated toward yoga and tai chi at a young age. She has practiced both for nine years and running. Laurél teaches yoga and takes classes regularly.
The Crest Trail, Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Laurél is an avid outdoorswoman and loves Utah for it's wilderness access. She frequently climbs, snowboards, and cycles throughout the Wasatch Front.
Laurél has spent her adult years as a semi-professional athlete and model. She frequently rides, climbs, and cycles with professional athletes, and she has done photoshoots for Northface, Patagonia, and Chaco.
Consequentially, Laurél has years of experience working on athletic clients with very specific needs. Her athletic clients have included professional snowboarders, rock climbers, NFL football player, and muscle-man competition contenders.
Laurél has years of experience with many modalities of massage including Swedish, Thai, deep tissue, sports massage, injury prevention, and injury rehabilitation. She collaborates with local and national physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, and acupuncturists to help her clients' specific needs.
